Margaret Hardin Cawood,age 89 of Jefferson City, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2002 at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville. Mrs. Cawood was a native of Tazewell, Tennessee. She and her husband ran Hillside Antiques for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alvis Garfield Cawood. She is survived by a son, Dr. David Cawood and wife Jeannie, of Jefferson City; a grandson, David Trinity Cawood and wife Cristen; two granddaughters, Dr. Christi Cawood Marsh and husband William, and Margaret elise (Lisa) Cawood Kellogg and husband, Christopher; four great grandchildren, Conner Cawood, Bela Kosa, Benjamin Kosa and Blair Kosa; sister-in-law, Ethel Cawood; niece, Polly McCulloughl niece-by-marriage, Bonnie Goodman; and nephews, Hugh Hardin and E. J. Hardin, III. Mrs Cawood is remembered by loving friends, Jimmy and Golda Chapman, Joe and Winnie Word, Audrey and Dan Byrd, and Judy Field. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2002 at Mrs. Cawood's home with Rev. C. D. Hagaman and Rev. Stuart Albee officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2002 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, TN or to the Holston Methodist Orphanage in Greenville, TN.
