Margaret Rose Butler

Margaret Rose Butler, age 83 of Dandridge, passed away on February 21, 2021. She was born in Kingsport, TN and raised in Artesian Hollow, Big Stone Gap, VA. Her family was her world and life. She was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Lester Dickenson and Sally Elizabeth Mullins Dickenson, and her son, Robert Lee Hood. Margaret is survived by her husband of 34 years Ralph Dunn Butler, daughters, Audrey Faye Byrom, Mary Helen (Dale) Cate, and Margaret Ann (Ralph) Brady, son, William Eugene (Diane) Bates, stepsons, Nathan Butler, Donald Butler and Andrew Butler, sister in-law, Marie Dickerson, 13 grandchildren, 20+ great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA. This beautiful woman was loved, blessed and will be truly missed but never forgotten. May you rest in heavenly peace. This is not goodbye, just see you later. We love you dearly.
