Maggie L. Spoon

MAGGIE L. SPOON, age 95, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday evening, October 4, 2007 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was dedicated to caring for her family. Maggie enjoyed quilting and working with crafts and sharing with others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Spoon; daughter, Laura Mae Spoon Riley; sons, Ernest Spoon, Jr.; James Edward Spoon and two infant sons; grandson, Randy Spoon. Survived by sons, Charles (Jean) Spoon, Carroll Spoon and Joe (Maye) Spoon; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with Rev. Ed Parton, Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Joe Devotie officiating. Interment to follow in the Dandridge memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
