Madge W. Collins

Madge W. Collins, age 88 of White Pine, TN passed away at 12:45 a.m. on December 24, 2002 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Collins was born July 13, 1914 in Loudon County. Mrs. Collins owned and operated Maple Street Grocery for many years in White Pine. She was preceded in death by husbands, Kyle Wall and Arthur Collins; parents, James Ott Weems and Vinnie Malone Weems; brothers, Elbert R. (Cap) Weems and Gerald Weems; sister, Lela Purkey. She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Charles E. and Odell Weems of Talbott; sister in law, Azeal Weems of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2002 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Interment will follow in the White Pine Cemetery.
