Mable Lane Brown

MABLE LANE BROWN, age 83, of Dandridge, TN passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 at her home. She was born October 17, 1923, the daughter of the late Oscar and Ollie Mae Rhinehart Lane and was a life long resident of Jefferson County. Preceded in death by her husband, William O. "Bill" Brown and sisters, bessie Lane and kathleen Lane. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church od White Pine. Mable was a loving mother and a dear friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Michael Lynn brown; cousin, Bea Morris and many friends who cherished her dearly. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for all the kindness and support from her friends and neighbors during her illness. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Glen Rines, Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
