Lylith Ellen Burrows

Lylith Ellen Burrows, age 93, of Talbott, TN passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge. She was born February 28, 1924 in Iola, Kansas to Francis and Josephine Bremer. She received Jesus as her Savior through a school teacher at a young age. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, her husband, and a son. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Michael Jones of New Market, TN; her grandson and wife, Cory and Becca Jones of Johnson City, TN; her nieces and nephews; and special family friends, The Colosimo Family. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Campbell officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. The body will be shipped to Oak-Hines Funeral home in Elmwood, IL for interment at Brimfield Cemetery in Brimfield, IL. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 118 Colossians Court, Jefferson City, TN 37760 marked for “Joyce’s Kids” or for “Lylith Burrows”.
