Lydia Welch Woods

LYDIA WELCH WOODS, age 81, of the Talbott community, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray L. Woods. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lennis and Louise Woods of Hanhan, SC; two brothers and one sister; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend T. H. Ferrell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Community Chapel Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
