Luther Hubert (L.H.) McGhee

Luther Hubert (L.H.) McGhee, age 75, of New Market, TN passed away 10:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his residence following a brief illness. He was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired miner from Asarco with 34 years of service. He was a Vietnam Vet having served in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Gladys McGhee; sister, Mary Elizabeth McGhee; brothers, Roger and Buddy McGhee. Survived by loving wife, Kathy Ann McGhee; sons, Kenny and Scott (Mikki Norwood) McGhee; grandson, Brandon McGhee; granddaughter, Cheyenne Norwood; great grandson, Colton McGhee; brother, Frank McGhee; sisters, Shirley Strong, Betty Hickle, Christine Dalton, and Earlene Cruze; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Carr officiating. Family and friends will gather 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment with full military honors. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City in Charge.
