Lula Mae Ballinger

LULA MAE BALLINGER, age 92, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, April 27, 202 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Dandridge where she worked faithfully as a housekeeper for several Dandridge families for many years. Lula was a life member of Christ Temple A.M.E. Zion Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ballinger; son, William “Ronnie” Ballinger; mother, Frances Mayes; brother, Joe Mayes; sister, Anna Rhea Evans. Lula is survived by her son, Calvin Ballinger; granddaughter, Rachiel Ballinger, and several other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and special friends Nancy Olden and Barbara Boots. Ms. Ballinger will lie in state from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge Chapel. A graveside funeral service will follow at 11:00am at Dandridge Memorial Gardens with Reverend Rosie Cuberson officiating and eulogy by Calvin Ballinger.
