Lucy Juanita Whitehead

LUCY JUANTIA WHITEHEAD, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2009 at Fort Sanders Medical Center. She was a member of Pollard Hill Baptist Church in Kodak. Preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel C. Whitehead; parents, Thomas and Mattie Cutshaw Russell; brothers, Crayton, Kenneth and Walker Russell; sisters, Dessie Russell, Nannie Russell, Kate Dockins, and Bonnie Russell; son-in-law, Preston Farrow. She is survived by children and their spouses, Wayne and Virginia Whitehead of Morristown, Carroll and Laverne Whitehead of Jefferson City, Diane Farrow of Rutledge, Johnny and Carla Whitehead of Jefferson City, JoAnn Whitehead of Strawberry Plains; grandchildren, Adrian Whitehead, Amy and Wesley Parker, Rev. Tim and Celena Farrow, Kim and Twanna Farrow, Crystal and Dennis Humbard, Amy Whitehead, T. J. Whitehead, Kristine Haney, Michael Cobble and Ashley Whitehead; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Acuff; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Timmy Farrow, Rev. Rodney Satterfield, and Rev. Joe Bailey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Calvary Baptist Church in Jefferson City.
