Lucy H. Rainwater

Lucy H. Rainwater, age 100 of Dandridge, TN passed away early Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge. Preceded in death by parents, J. W. and Laura Rainwater; sisters, Lettie Rainwater Smelcer, Nine E. Rainwater, Nora Rainwater Caton; brother, Rex Rainwater. She was a former Jefferson County school teacher and member of the Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church all her life. Survived by brothers, Clyde Rainwater of Knoxville and Glenn Rainwater of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2004 at Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Clark and Dr. Ron Gough officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
