LUCY MAE COX, age 105, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge, TN. She was born November 24, 1906 in Dandridge, TN, where she resided until her death. Lucy Cox was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Floyd Anderson Cox. They were married for 57 wonderful years. She was a life time member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church of Dandridge, TN where she served as elder and attended faithfully. She loved the Lord and was always spreading his word and encouraging others to live their lives serving God first. She is survived by her heart children, Clarence Jobe (Carol), Yvonne Jobe, Lucy Loving, and the late Albert (Sandy) Jobe. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kristie Taylor (Mike), Leon Jobe Jr., Michael Jobe (Linda Jo), Kimberly Bradley, Eric Jobe, Amber Jobe, and the late Aaron Jobe, and heart sister, Nancy Olden; and many other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. Graveside interment service will follow. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
