Lucy T. Brabson

Lucy T. Brabson, age 86, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away 12:00 noon Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at her residence. Lucy was a true servant at heart. She loved helping others and she was a faithful member of Martha Davis Baptist Church, serving also at Boyd?s Chapel United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Herbert ?Bangs? Brabson; parents, Arthur and Quinnie Thompson. Lucy leaves to cherish her loving and devoted daughter, Christina Boyd, (Samuel Boyd, II), who was her loving care giver during her illness. She leaves two grandsons, Landon Black and Samuel Boyd, III, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Martha Davis Baptist Church with Reverend Nathaniel Wilson officiating. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. The family would like to thank Dr. Lance Patton, and the directors of Covenant Health and Hospice for their prompt and kind attention during this difficult time.
