WELLS, age 84, of Talbott, TN passed away Friday, August 10, 2007 at St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone she met. She was a lifelong member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford D. Wells; parents, Dewey and Ollie Horner; brothers, Roscoe, Archie and William (Bunt) Horner; and sisters, Reba (Toots) Maxey and Annie Mae Horner. She is survived by her loving children, Toby (Nancy) Wells of New Market, Judy Myers of Talbott, and Ronnie (Kim) Wells of South Carolina; grandchildren, Deneen (Todd) Headrick, Tony Myers, Marla Rice, Stephen Wells and Cody Wells; great grandchildren, Matt and Derek Rice, Stephanie Headrick, Bobby Myers and Michael Myers; brother, Hall (Dutch) Horner; sisters, Shirley (Dewel) Miller, Edith (Pete) Harris, Cora (Doyal) Trent and Anna Ruth (Wayne) Elmore; sister-in-law, Charlotte Horner; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend at Life Care Center Jefferson City, Jessie Mills. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-great grandchild in January, 2008. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend R. J. Seal officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to especially thank the wonderful nurses at Life Care Center and St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital for their care.
