Lucille Atkins Trent

LUCILLE ATKINS TRENT, age 64, of Morristown, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Alvis Atkins and Lola Clevenger; daughter, Michelle Ferrell Lilly; brothers, Gerald and Ray Atkins; sister, Betty Ann Atkins. She was a member of Mt. Vale Church of God, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Newman Trent; children T. H. Ferrell (Norma), and Melissa Williams (Melvin); step-children, Lee Trent (Teresa), Tim Trent, Jerry Trent, Ricky Trent (Lisa) and Janae Mitchell (Jamie); brothers and sisters, Tabsue Mullins, (James), Loretta Dalton (Jeff), Michael Dean Atkins, Larry Clevenger, Roger Clevenger (B..J.), and Lorene Phillips (J.C.); grandchildren, Brandon Ferrell (Beckie), Heather Ferrell, Caleb Ferrell, Alan Roach, Nick Daniels, Alexis Williams, Zayne and Acoya Mitchell; great-grandchild, Bently Roach; several other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Mt. Vale Church of God with Rev. T. H. Ferrell and Rev. Phillip Ruth officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt.
