Lucille Wood Smith

LUCILLE WOOD SMITH, age 92, of Talbott, TN went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Talbott. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Smith; sisters, Myrtle Conard and Danilla Davis; brother, W. C. Wood. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Dianne Smith; daughters and sons-in-law, Carlene and Terry Cox, Cheryl and Ron Byrd; grandchildren and spouses, Amy and David Owenby, Nikki and Jimmy Morton, Carrie and Shannon Calton, Lynn and Ashley Byrd, Rexanna and Ben Ellison; great-grandchildren, Chloe Owenby, Becca Byrd, Bryce and Sydney Calton, Elijah Morton and Sophia Ellison; sister, Maudella Wilson; brother, Edwin Wood; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Hattie Smith, Dorothy Wade and Ila Wood. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Kenny Boling and Rev. Scott Cline officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
