Lucille Morrisett

LUCILLE MORRISETT, age 77, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Jefferson City Health and Rehab. She was born June 18, 1939 to the late Rev. J. R. and Viola Hensley. Lucille attended the Jefferson City Church of God and was retired from Jeff-Co Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Hensley; and brother-in-law, Lewis Gilliam. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Alfred Morrisett; son, Mitchell Morrisett of Piedmont; sisters, Polly Gilliam of Spring City, and Connie (Joe) Fowler of Newport; brothers, Lonnie (Glenna) Hensley of Ooltewah, and Rev. Dwight (Bertie) Hensley of Newport; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Dye and Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service.
