Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Mrs. Dyer was a life long member of Martha Davis Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Lydia Chestnut Treece; husband, Henry C. Dyer; son, Michael C. Dyer; brothers, Garvin, Edgar, Rudolph (Rufus), Guinion, and Frank Treece; sisters, Gertrude Mills, and Martha Hodges. She leaves to cherish her memory; son , John (Darlene) Dyer of Grand Rapids, MI; daughters, Brenda (Lee) Woods of Dublin, OH, Phyllis Mason of Morristown, TN, Jacquie (Bobby) Griffin of Jefferson City, TN; brother:, Charley (Mack) Treece of Troy, NY; thirteen grandchildren, Mesha Chavis, Steven, Kevin, Jason, and Stephanie Woods, Tonya Boling, Cheryl Walker, Jessica Mills, Selina Ysasi, Jeanette and Sonya Dyer, Keisha and Indya Griffin; eighteen great grandchildren; devoted friend and neice, Vantilene (Tiny) Horton of Jefferson City; devoted nephew, Frankie Horton, also of Jefferson City; and special nephew, Rudolph (Sonny) Treece of Grand Rapids, Michigan; many other nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2005 at Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Nathaniel Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2005 to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
