Lou Verna "Miss Lou" Fugate

LOU VERNA FUGATE "MISS LOU", passed away at her home peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born on March 12, 1925 in Harlan, KY, the daughter of Frank and Julia Durham Parson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Bud and Cleo "Red" Parson. Miss Lou was married to James Fugate from 1946 until he passed away in 1982. She is survived by her longtime companion and caregiver, Jerry Pangle; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at their convenience on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Graveside service will be follow at 2:00 p.m. in White Pine Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
