LORRAINE BISHOP PATTERSON, age 86, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 2012. Lorraine was the daughter of the late Bryan and Grace Collins Bishop, and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Patterson; sister, Betty Davis; and mother and father-in-law, George and Josie Moree Patterson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Jo and Buddy Reneau, Patricia and Jimmy Taylor all of Dandridge; grandchilden, Melanie Kasaval and husband Mark, Brant Taylor, Leandra Puckett and Julie King and husband Howard; great grandchildren, Brittany Gaylor, Jaiden Kasaval, Shane and Thomas Taylor and their mother, Melissa Taylor, Ethan, Aleigha, and Mathew Puckett and their father, Tom Puckett, and Lauren and Jake King; sister, Ruth Young of Morristown; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge their sincere appreciation to all her friends and caretakers at the Jefferson Co. Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shady Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1675 Harold Patterson Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral service will be Friday, September 28, 2012, 7:00pm at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Joey Manis and Rev. Garland Long officiating. Interment graveside services, Saturday, 11:00am at Shady Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church.
