Lorene Underwood Hickman

LORENE UNDERWOOD HICKMAN, age 85, of New Market, TN passed away Sunday morning, February 17, 2008. She was born April 20, 1922 in Sevier County, TN, the daughter of the late Jim and Hulda Bailey Underwood. Preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hickman; brother, Roy Bailey; and sister, Louise Chesney. she was a long time member of the Paw Paw Hollow Baptist church, where she served as church pianist for over 40 years. She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Mack Sharp and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Al Smith and Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Interment graveside services Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
