Loonie T. (Jack) Hazelwood

Loonie T. "Jack" Hazelwood,age 81 of Talbott, Tennessee and formerly of Santa Ana, California passed away on Friday, September 13, 2002 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Post # VFW of Morristown and a veteran of WW II, having served in North Africa and Italy. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his wife, Louise Hazelwood of Santa Ana, California; step daughter, Regina Benson-Amirpour of Orange, CA; step-son, Van Matheny of Santa Ana, CA; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; with special nephew, Bernard Hazelwood of Jefferson City, TN. Funeral services will be held at 7;00 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2002 from Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bobby Hughes officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2002 to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service with military honors given by Milton Roberts Post #5266.
