Lonnie B. Townsend

In Loving Memory of Lonnie B. Townsend, age 70 of White Pine, who passed away at his home on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Lonnie was a retired QC Inspector at Sonoco in Newport and is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Townsend and son, Robbie Townsend. He is survived by his children: son, Pete Townsend; and daughters, Darlene and Crystal Townsend; grandchildren, Bryan, Travis, Kari, Ivie and Lucas; also his sisters, Mammie Hance and Linda Dunn; as well as many other family and friends who loved him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev. Gary Parker officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Coleman Cemetery at 11:00am.
