Linda Darlene Whaley Gann

Linda Darlene Whaley Gann, age 56, passed away at home after a 15 year battle with cancer on Monday October 15, 2012. She was a member of Grants Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Betty Lou Shrader Gann; grandfather-in-law, Rosen Shrader. Survived by husband of 38 years, Gregg Gann of Dandridge; son,Christopher Gann and wife Jennifer of Fort Knox, Kentucky; beloved granddaughters, Alexia, Trinity, and Sarah Gann; father and mother, Claude and Betty Whaley of New Market; sister Rebecca Woods and husband Roger of Dandridge; sister, Teresa Adams and husband Mike of Dandridge; brother, David Whaley and wife Linda of Dandridge; father-in-law James Earl Gann and wife Alma; great grandmother-in-law, Jennie Shrader; nieces and nephews, Trisha McKinney and husband Bobby Joe of Edison, TN, Amy Jennings and husband Tom of Dandridge, Shannon Laymon and husband David of Kodak, Melissa Goldsmith and husband Brad of Craig, CO, Townsend Clinton of Dandridge; also several great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. We would like to express a special thank you to Teresa, who was a loving caregiver to her in her final days. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Receiving of family and friends on Wednesday October 17th from 5-8 PM at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with funeral service to follow. Family and friends will gather at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge on Thursday October 18th at 1:15pm in order to proceed to Hillcrest Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service.
