LINDA E. HENRY, age 76, of Dandridge, TN passed away peacefully at the Jefferson County Nursing Home on Friday evening, July 21, 2017 after a long battle with Progressive Supra-nuclear Palsy. Linda was an Alabama native but moved to East Tennessee 34 years ago with her husband Johnny, where they enjoyed exploring the mountains, making crafts and raising their dogs and cats. Linda worked for several years with her husband at the Smoky Mountain Knifeworks where she made and sold jewelry. She was a member of the Alpha Baptist Church in Morristown where she and Johnny were active for many years before her illness kept her away. Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Johnny Henry; her parents, Bernard and Earline Graves; and grandson, Matthew Henry and son-in-law, K.T. Bordon. She is survived by her children, Mike (Jenny) Henry, David (Sherri) Henry, DeeDee (Brad) Canfield and Penny Bordon along with 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Joy) Graves. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Progressive Supra-nuclear Palsy Foundation at www.psp.org/donate. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017, 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Kirby officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
