LINDA NOVICE FIELDER HOLDEN, age 58, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Ocala/Ft. Pierce, FL, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 27, 2011, following a long and valiant battle with cancer. She was born on September 21, 1952, in Greenwood, MS, the daughter of the late William Allen Fielder and Geneva Rachel Hodges Fielder. She was a member of the Palm Vista Church of God and the Nahunta Church of God. She was a graduate of Forest High School in Ocala, FL, and attended Central Florida Community College and Indian River Community College. Novice was the owner of and tax expert for Novice?s Accounting for 15 years and was also an enrolled agent for the Internal Revenue Service. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Holden, Jr., Daughter, Kaylyn Holden, Son, Ryan Holden all of Ft. Pierce, FL; Daughter and Son-in-law, Tierni (Kyle) Schmidt and Granddaughter, Alice Lisa Marie Schmidt of Nahunta, GA; Brother and Sister-in-law, Byron (Daphne) Fielder of Knoxville, TN; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-Law Glen (Linda Sue) Holden of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jack (Sandy) Holden and niece Elizabeth of Orlando, FL, and Freddie Holden of Brunswick, GA; and her dear friend, Linda Tew, of Nahunta, Ga. Novice will always be remembered for her love for her Savior, her love for others, and her giving spirit. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Palm Vista Church of God, Ft. Pierce, Florida, with Reverend George Absher and Reverend Charles Florey officiating.
