Lina Lucille Brown Hubbard

LINA LUCILLE BROWN HUBBARD, of Talbott, TN, born December 13, 1924, passed away at Jefferson Memorial Hospital with her family by her side on March 29, 2011. Lucille accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a member of Talbott Baptist Church. She was retired from Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and always kept them close. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul H. Hubbard; parents, Ed and Annie McCampbell Brown; brother, Buford Brown; and son-in-law, Clell H. Quarles. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Dorothy Hubbard of Talbott, Ronald (Doc) and Joyce Hubbard of White Pine, Darrell and Lee Hubbard of Morristown; daughters, Vernice Hubbard Cameron and Keith Turner, Doris Hubbard Quarles, both of Talbott; special grandson, Gabriel Hubbard of the home; grandsons, Terry (Robin) Hubbard, Russ (Stephanie) Quarles, Nathan (Becky) Hubbard, Josh (Sara) Hubbard, Daniel (Kim) Hubbard, Ryan Hubbard, Brock Epps, Justin (Kasi) Speed, Chris Speed; granddaughters, Denise (Lance) Hammer, Jamie (Rick) Williams, Pam (Bruce) Cazzurion, Mitzie (John) Satterfield, Valerie Quarles Pierce; twelve great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; and one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Dewey Brown of Dayton, OH; sister, Reva Brown Bunch of Morristown; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Bernie Cagle officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Sunderland Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday.
