Lillian Perry McKendrick

LILLIAN PERRY MCKENDRICK, age 92, of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was a member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, John W. McKendrick. She is survived by son, Jack (Irene) McKendrick of Louisville, KY; daughters, Jo (Shirl) Taylor of Lina, OH, Connie (Noel) Yarborough of Dandridge, TN; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Howard of Indiantown, Florida;several nieces and nephews; and her special loving friends and church family of the Shady Grove community. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Adventa Hospice for their care. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shady Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1675 Harold Patterson Road, Dandridge, Tn 37725. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 from the Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Scott Brady officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
