BRUNER, age 86, of Strawberry Plains, TN went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2008. She was a faithful member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She was a pastry chef at Coachman's Inn and Restaurant in the 60's and a cook at Rush Strong School in the 70's and 80's. Preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Carrie Edmonds; son, Lloyd L. Bruner; brothers, Bud, Glen and John; and sister, Pauline Cherry. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 71 years, Condon (L.C.) Bruner; son, Edgar Bruner and wife, Gracie; daughter-in-law, Juanita Bruner; grandsons, Allen and wife Martie, Marvin, Robert and Ricky; great-grandchildren, Brandy, James, Zachary, Whitney and Jason; great-great grandchildren, Winter, Haley, Melody and Cody. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dr. Charles Hobbs, Reverend Dwayne Whittington and Reverend Johnny Mills officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
