Lester P. Luckey

Lester P. Luckey, age 89 of Dandridge, TN, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2003 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. Lester had been an active member of his community and as a member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church and the church choir. He was also a member of the Dandridge Senior Citizens and the Dandridge Lions Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Johanna Walker Luckey and daughter, Zona Galye Mondjak. Survived by daughter and son in law, Edith Anne and edward j. Conner; grandchildren, Sean Luckey Conners, Kelli Susan Hudson and Zona Jo Boyer; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2 p.m. from the Dandridge First United Methodist church with Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 8, Dndridge, TN 37725. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. saturday prior to services at the church.
