SILVER, age 75, of Talbott, TN died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was a long time member, teacher and mission worker of Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott. He was retired from American Enka after 37 years service, an amateur HAM operator (KC4YE) and a volunteer firefighter with the West Hamblen County VFD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Listenbury and Myrtle Hinchey Silver; sister, Margaret; and grandson, John. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Roberta ?Robbie? Silver; daughter, Sandie Silver Shaver; son, John and wife, Sandy; son, Jim and wife, Tracy; grandchildren, P.J., Lori, Susan, Joel and Jama; great grandchildren, Jacki, Sherrie, Brett, Nick and Zack. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Flat Gap Baptist Cemetery with Lebanon pastor R. J. Seal officiating.
