Leavey K. Millis

LEAVEY K. MILLIS, age 76, of Blaine, TN passed away suddenly February 18, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Millis was a retired nurse from Fort Sanders Hospital after nearly 48 years of service, and an active member of the Church of God International. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Millis; her beloved son, Dale E. Burros; parents, Dee and Alberta Camp King. Survived by special cousins, Betty Carlton of Huntsville, AL and Velma Rector of Jasper, TN; extended family, Celia Collins, James and Cathy Wilson, all of Rutledge, TN and the Eddie Davis family of Blaine; and a host of friends. Special thanks to the staff of Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Kingston Pike in Knoxville with Rev. Dwight Bull officiating.
