LAURA KATE RINES GREGORY, age 94, of Talbott, TN passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her home. Preceded in death by husband, Glenn E. ?Lefty? Gregory; grandson, Randall Lee Gregory; parents, John Simpson and Alice Bishop Rines; sisters, Annie Rines, A. Charlotte Rines Rodgers and Mary Rines Shaver; brothers, George E. Rines, Marshall T. Rines, Walter K. Rines and Robert R. Rines. Member of Lebanon Baptist Church and the Omega Class. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, and a Nursing Assistant Program in 1984. She worked for Dr. S. C. Fain until he retired. Survived by daughter, Carolyn Coffie of Knoxville; son, Glenn Randall Gregory of Kodak; special son and caregiver, John Samuel Gregory of Talbott; brother, Lester F. Rines of Townsend; special cousin, Josephine Rines Brinkley; granddaughters, Carol Sue Fugate, Carolyn Sue Gregory, Paige Coffie and Heather Coffie; grandson, Danny Lynn Gregory; six great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. R. J. Seal officiating. Graveside interment service to follow at Lebanon Church Cemetery.
