He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was an active member and Provost Marshall of Amvets Post # 7 in Morristown. Preceded in death by his parents, Lattie Roosevelt Robinson and Ruby Hayes Robinson. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Brian A. and Joni Robinson of Morristown, and Barkley and Afton Robinson of Rogersville, TN; grandson, Blaine A. Robinson; special caregiver, Laura Clark of White Pine; special friends, Anita Frazier and Robin Hurst of Newport and Michelle Long of Morristown; along with many other close friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, October 21, 2006 to proceed to Dandridge Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. military graveside service.
