Larry Steve Woods

LARRY STEVE WOODS, age 64, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, John G. Woods, Jr. and Carrie ?Toad? Woods; in-laws, Jim and Genevieve Owens; and sister-in-law, Janie Sue Overbay. Larry is survived by his wife, June Woods; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lindsey Woods; son and girlfriend, John Woods and Tonya Stiner. Larry was a devoted Papaw to grandchildren, Grant and Maggie Woods, and a beloved Poppy to adoptive granddaughters, Taylor and Hannah McGill. He is also survived by special cousins, Jewel (Earl) Price and Jeanette (Jack) Jenkins; several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Pete Martin, Jeff Elmore, Bud Potts, James Hoffner, Nick Chandler, and Wade Chandler. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with funeral services to follow with Reverend Mike Henegar and Reverend Chris Howell officiating. Family and friends will gather at Farrar Funeral Home at 10:15 Saturday morning and proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
