Larry Eugene Smith, age 68 of Morristown Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2022. Larry was saved at an early age and of the Baptist faith. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent most of his career in the construction of homes, and fire and restoration for the latter part of his career. He also enjoyed woodworking and creating keepsakes for his family.

Larry is proceeded in death by his father, Hesco Smith of Corbin, Kentucky, and his children Mishelle Smith and Jessie Smith of Morristown, Tennessee.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Crystal Smith-Coats of Jefferson City, Tennessee and Nikki (Nate) Stachey of Corrington, Tennessee, Marti (Will) Strange of Whitesburg Tennessee. His grandchildren which he absolutely adored, Erika, Jade, Bailey, Lyric, Kayson, Emma, Easton, Tori and Dusty.  His mother, Juanita Hoskins, stepmother Marilyn Smith, siblings Phyllis Smith, Donna Cody, and brother Daryl (Becky) Parker, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

His daughters would like to express their appreciation to everyone involved in the endless love and care provided to their father during this time.

His daughters would also like to come together and have a celebration of Larry's life on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Arrowhead Church in Morristown, TN.
