Laila Ries Engelbret

LAILA RIES ENGELBRET, age 86, of Morristown, TN passed away September 11, 2003. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and has been a resident of Morristown since 1986. She attended the Panther Springs United Methodist Church of Morristown and the Eastern Star. She was the daughter of the late George and Izetta Ries and was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Engelbret (Dec. 21, 2001). A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, William G. Engelbret of Altonna, PA and his wife, Kathleen; daughter, Carol E. Allen of Morristown and husband, Willima Steve Allen; granddaughters, Erica C. Allen, Stephanie K. Allen and Elizabeth A. Engelbret; brothers, Jess A. Ries and Donald G. Ries; sisters, Louise Wulf and Izetta Wilson, all of the Pittsburgh area. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 18 at the Panther Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Garland James and Steve Engelbret presiding. Entombment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Saturday prior to services at the church.
