L.S. Gorman, Born May 7, 1936 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. The family would like to express a special Thank You to the medical team in the Emergency Room, the CCU staff and the one night nurse who dealt with his passing. Thank You! He is preceded in death by his wife Lena Mae Gorman, parents; Earnest and Irene Lane Gorman, sisters and brothers; Gladis Eddington, Jim Gorman, John Gorman, Betty Sue McKinney, Eva Warner and Shirley Clement, niece and nephew; Annette Self and Roger Gorman and great-niece, Lacrecie Shephard. L.S. worked at American Enka for 12 years and went into wood working until his retirement from Lea Industries in Morristown. He was a member at Lakeland Baptist Church in White Pine, and a special Thank You to Pastor Tommy Lindsey and his wife Debbie for helping with his surviving son Mark A. Gorman, he is also survived by one brother, several sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday Evening September 28, 2016 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with the Rev. Tommy Lindsey and Rev. Charles Lindy officiating, family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016, 2:00pm in Hamblen Memory Gardens, The son has requested that In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations be sent to: Mark Gorman, 3203 Cecelia Street, White Pine, TN 37890 to help with the medical expenses.
