Kym was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and Carson-Newman College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City and was employed by First Peoples Bank. Kym enjoyed many aspects of life including reading, traveling, creative writing and expressing her individuality. She was an avid collector of pig memorabilia. Kym brought joy to family and friends for 32 years. We cherish the legacy of memories she left behind. Kym was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Arthur Blevins I and Raymond T. DeArmond; grandmother, Margarete Murrin Doll; step grandfather, Eugene E. Doll. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Carolyn Blevins; sister, Suzanne Wilkerson; brother, Art Blevins; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Shannon Blevins; nieces, Alex Blevins, Jaclyn Wilkerson, Sydney Blevins; nephew, Noah Wilkerson; grandmother, Ruth Wilson DeArmond; step grandmother, Jean R. Blevins; devoted companion, Scott Seal; uncle and aunt, Ray and Barbara DeArmond; cousins, Robert DeArmond and Beth Labbe. Burial will be Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Jefferson City with a Celebration of Life service to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
