Kyle Eugene Johnson “Gene”, age 70, of Dandridge, TN, born September 11, 1953, went home to be with his heavenly father. He was a member of Responding to His Call Ministry.

Proceeded in death by parents, Ray and Mima Jane Johnson; brothers, Sherman C. Johnson, and Herbert Russell Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Fran Johnson; daughter, Millie (Allen) Wright; brothers, Gary (Linda) Johnson, and Phillip Johnson; sisters, Debra (Jimmy) Thomas, Amanda (Andrew) Strange; grandson, Jacob (Ashley) Wright, Brandon Wright; great-grandson, Bentley Wright and soon to be born; great-grandson, “Little Baby Freddy” as so nicknamed by his great-grandfather; many nieces and nephews and friends.

Gene’s message to all before his passing was, He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and his last words spoken was “I Love You All”.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 24, 2023, at 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with long time friend, Reverend Bobby Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm prior to service. Interment graveside service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dandridge.
