Kim was a member of the Jefferson City Christian Church. Preceded in death by grandparents, J. Harold (former sheriff of Jefferson County) and Ruth Ellison; grandfather, Boyd (Rusty) Denton. Kim is survived by her loving husband, Mike Salazar of Jefferson City; four children, Victoria, Parker, John Robert and Michael; father, local business man, John W. and Marie Ellison of Jefferson City; mother, Gloria Denton Ellison of Warner Robins, GA; grandmother, Ona Pearl Denton of Dandridge; special sister-in-law, Angie Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers-in-law, Joe Salazar of Mobile, Alabama, Jason Salazar of Mobile, Alabama; sister-in-law, Tina Menslage of Jacksonville, IL; special sister, Stacey Sexton and husband, Rodney of White Pine; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Nancy Salazar of Mobile, Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Elissa Ellison of Warner Robins, GA, Randy and Wendy Baxter of Dandridge; special great aunt, Carrie Lou Estes of Jefferson City; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend John W. Ellison II of Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins, GA Reverend Bob Emmert of the Jefferson City Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
