Boat Dock Kim - Kim Orren, age 73, of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord, July 9th, 2020 after a brief illness at Fort Sanders Hospital. Kim was born in Roswell, New Mexico, March 25th, 1947. Due to his father being active in the Airforce, Kim went to school in 4 different countries (Africa, Canada, England and the US) before his father settled in Macomb Co. Michigan. While in college for Finance, he worked for Commercial Credit, they promoted him to Manager and then he transferred to California. While in California he met Belinda his wife of 43 years. In 1977 along with his wife, they moved to Tennessee and bought the Red Weaver Boat Dock. They renamed it Inspiration Point and Boat Dock Kim was born. He quickly became an important part of the Muddy Creek community and the rest of Jefferson Co. Kim was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church. Proceeded in death by his parents William F. Orren II and Annis K. Dunlop Orren. He is survived by his wife Belinda K. Whittier Orren, two daughters Kelly (Joey) Burnett and Katie (Robbie) Schmidt. Six Grandchildren Alex, Charlie and Kayley Schmidt and Luke, Chase, and Samantha Burnett. Brothers William F. Orren III and Kurt (Tamra) Orren, Sister Jan Crumbley and several cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation, 5000 Linbar Dr. Suite 275, Nashville, Tn 37211.
