He professed his faith in God at an early age while attending Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Leadvale Baptist Church. He was a former registered nurse at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Preceded in death by brother, Kenny Silvers. He is survived by his parents, Clyde and Doris Silvers; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Charles Harkleroad and Reverend Charles Robison officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:15 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at Dandridge Memorial Gardens for a 10:30 a.m. graveside interment service.
