KEVIN TODD RICHARDSON, age 30, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Dandridge, TN, went peacefully to be with the Lord, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Todd died from a long and difficult battle with leukemia. He fought his illness with amazing courage, dignity and humor. During his 19 month struggle with this disease, he comforted his family and friends, always thinking of others. Todd is preceded in death by his grandparents, W. E. (Bill) Richardson, C. H. (Jim) and Jo Williams, uncle, Sammy Williams; and best friend, Scott Fandetti. Todd was a loving daddy and was blessed with a 2 1/2 year old son, Camden Scott. He is also survived by the love of his life, Cammy Brown of Sevierville; his parents, Rudy and Libby Richardson; sister, April Richardson; brother, Kenny Richardson and Brittany Hughes; niece, Keyara Hall; also his brothers and sisters in love, Shelby Brown, Seth Green, Spencer Holmes, Gannon, Gaston, and Garen Haney. Other survirors are his grandmother, Louise Richardson; aunts and uncles, Joy and Richard Corum, Lorie and Hal Thurman, Tama Williams Young and husband, Clay, Rodney and Lora Williams; cousins, Brent and Amy Williams, Bobby (BJ) and Autumn williams, Craig and Brad Williams, Cherish Corum, the Larry Brown family from Cocke County, and the Kathy Daily family of Sevirville; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Remembered by his family and many dear friends for antics too numerous to recount and his contagious smile, his death has left all our lives a little dimmer, a little quieter, and a whole lot sadder. We are all richer for having known Todd and hopefully will be kinder to one another by seeing the example he set. A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Ibach and all the doctors and nurses at the Thompson Cancer Center and to all the special angels of eight north at Ft. Sanders Regional. Without each of you, we would not have been able to spend the extra nineteen months with Todd. You are all truly real angels here on earth. Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Dandridge with coach Jeff Price and Eric Peters officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside interment service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ethan Boone, Seth Green, Spencer Holmes, Brent Williams, B J Williams and Jared Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Brown, Tod Haa, Andy Seaton, Tim Sullivan, Chris Seay, Josh Shoemake, David Holmes, Bill Golden and John Matthews. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Camden Scott Richardson Education Fund, c/o April Richardson, 1238 Faith Lane, Dandridge, TN 37725.
