Kent B. McSpadden,

KENT B. MCSPADDEN, SR., age 84, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday morning, June 4, 2009. He was born May 22, 1925, the son of the late Sam and Ersie (Franklin) McSpadden, and was a life long resident of Dandridge. During his working years, Kent was a truck driver for Bush Bros. and Co., and was employed several years with Magnavox and retired after many years as a barber of the Dandridge Barber Shop, which he owned and operated. Preceded in death by his son, Kent McSpadden, Jr.; daughter, Peggy McSpadden; brothers, Ramon McSpadden, Spencer McSpadden, and Frank McSpadden; sisters, Maxine Tompkins and Janette Harmon. Survived by wife, Naomi Sutton McSpadden; brother, Jack McSpadden; sister, Doris Hill; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Ray Carr officiating.
