Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 Phone 865-475-3892 Fax 865-475-9916 OBITUARY: KENNETH JON SCHROER, age 68, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 30, 2007, at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born May 17, 1938 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Art and Mary Schroer; brother, Richard Schroer and two infant sons, Steven Scott and Gerald Allan Schroer. Ken was an avid supporter of Tennessee football and Lady Vols basketball. A devout and loyal member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Jefferson City, TN, where he served on the church building committee. He also served as a cantor, choir member, and on the liturgy and finance committees. He was a Charter Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus of Council 12838. He was a licensed chiropractor and was employed by the Berkline Corporation for 25 years. He was also owner and operator of ?Cabinets by Ken? and was retired from Cabinet Craft of Knoxville. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kathleen (Kathy) M. Schroer; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Albert Piedalue of Ronan, Montana; sisters-in-law and husbands, Jean and Chuck Logic of Racine, WI, Elaine and Fletch Bridges of Virginia Beach, VA; nieces, Cynthia Schroer Ryan, Constance Mari Schroer, Laurie Hoffert, Kathy Logic, Shelly Bridges, Kelley Farmer, Kristene Troch and Natalie Arnsberger; nephews, Michael Schroer, Daniel and Nick Pedalue, Jeff, Steve, Mike, Matt and Mark Logic. Receiving of friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, followed by a prayer service and rosary. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 3, 2007 at the funeral home to proceed to Holy Trinity Catholic Church for an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass with Father Dan Whitman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Daniel Booker, Ken Booker, Jr., Ken Booker, Ben Buergler, Stanley Szalkiewicz and Richard Zyla.
