Kenneth Earl Havely

KENNETH EARL HAVELY, age 89, of Jefferson City, TN passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2018. He was a member of Mill Springs Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He will be remembered as a faithful, loving and caring gentleman who treated everyone with honesty and kindness. Preceded in death by father and mother, Earl and Ethel R. Havely; brothers, Robert Havely and Gordon Havely. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary B. Havely; children, Charles “Randy” Havely (Michelle), Mark Havely (Charlotte), Brian Havely (Tara), and Lisa Ulrich (Matthew); grandchildren, Morgan, Miranda, Isabella, Lucas, Connor, Ethan, Jonathan, Addie, Kinsey and Hannah; sisters-in-law, Elsie Havely and Dee Havely; several nephews, niece, and other relatives. Special thanks to Betty Mabe and Brenda Evans for their compassionate care and love for Kenneth, Bill and Bernice, and many other lifelong friends who he cherished. Also thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Senior Citizen Home Assistance. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Mill Springs Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Lindsey officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
