Kenneth David Posey, jack of all trades, God fearing man, dedicated son, loving brother, sweet-sweet husband, best dad anyone could dream of, incredible papaw, everyone's favorite uncle...THE LEGEND. Ken was a rare combination of someone who had such a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important - the blissful simplicity of living a life surrounded by those you love the most and his Lord and Savior. He died just like he lived: he wrote his own rules, he put his whole heart and soul into everything he did in life, and he paved his own way. His all-time favorite saying was," can't never could do nothing." If you said he couldn't do it, he would do it better and more efficiently than anyone. His presence lit the room up like the midday sun and his embrace was like a warm blanket of peace and comfort. Kens heart was made of gold and had room for anyone in need of love. Even though death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. He lived a successful life in that he lived to serve the Lord, laughed often, and loved much. Ken gained the respect of men from all walks of life because he was humble and kindhearted. He has fulfilled his earthly duties and accomplished his tasks; he without a doubt leaves this world better than he found it. Ken never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express his admiration for Gods creations. Ken always looked for the best in others and drew people in with his infectious smile and laugh. He will be missed so dearly. He dedicated 30 years of his time and heart to Emco-Willams. He took pride in his job and loved his work family like they were his own. He was preceded in death by his dearest mother Peggy Jean Robinson Eads and his heavenly brother Billy Joe Spaulding. He was survived by his father Dickie Posey, Mama Blanche Posey, Wife of 17 years Missy Posey, dearest daughter and son in law, Cierra Posey and Max Araiza, son, Tony Bledsoe, son and daughter in law, Logan and Aryn Bledsoe, sister and brother-in-law, Sis & Brian Napier, sister and brother-in-law, Squirt & Tony Milwee, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Emily Posey, and brother, Robert Spaudling. Ken was the proudest papaw of Maverick Anthony and Mia Kenzley. As well as many amazing nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Ken's celebration of life will be Saturday, April 22, 2023 held at Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church in New Market, TN. The visitation will be from 3pm-5pm. The services for Kenny start at 5:30pm where his beloved friend Reverend Ricky Hardin will be preaching his service. Come celebrate this amazing man's life and accomplishments with us and rejoice that he is walking alongside his Savior now. We are not asking for any donations because Ken would have said to go give it to someone who needs it more than him. Pray for the Posey Family in this time of mourning. We are also asking that instead of flowers that you plant a tree in his memory because that is what he wanted most. God Bless.
