KENNETH C. "BLUE" CHAMBERS, age 69, of Dandridge, TN passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 17, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Lawson John "Dink" Chambers and Cora Lee Shrader Chambers. He was a veteran of the US Army, retired carpenter and a 22 year bus driver with the Jefferson County School System. He lived his love for the Lord and life as a lifelong member of Grants Chapel United Methodist Church of Dandridge. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Betty A. Chambers; daughters and sons-in-law, Mitzi and Darrell Donahoo, Melanie and Marty White, Melinda and Darrin Breeden; step-sons and daughters, Johnny Whitaker, David Whitaker, Bobby and Diane Whitaker, Debra and Tom Ayers and Vickie Whitaker; loving grandchildren, Hunter Donahoo, Lakin and Lex Breeden, Ben Stipes, Jesse Whitaker, Ronald, Amy and Alan Whitaker, BJ and Stacey Jo Whitaker; special loved ones, Brett and Carla Martin, Cole Hicks and Kaylee Gabdois; brothers, J. T. and Imogene Chambers, R. A. "Doc" and JoAnn Chambers, Wilma Reneau and Peggy and Bill Fain; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Ginger Isom, Rev. Darrell Chambers and Kenneth Thornhill officiating. Military graveside interment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grants Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
