He was a former teacher and principal with the Jefferson County Board of Education and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice McCarter Craig of Jefferson City; parents, Floyd and Edith Craig of Jefferson City; son, Kevin Craig of Sevierville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Kedra and Ken Link of Clearwater, FL; granddaughters, Brittany and Ashley Link; grandsons, Kutter and Kolby Craig; sister, Donna Goss of Birmingham, AL; sister-in-law, Charlotte Groseclose of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Bob McCarter (Mary McCarter)of Jefferson City; nephews, Bob McCarter, Jr., Sam McCarter and Jerrod Goss; nieces, Judy Webb and Mary Wilcox; and several special aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Zion Hill Cemetery in Sevier County for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service with Dr. Ken Link and Reverend Floyd Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
